A magnificent and rare oil painting titled “Woman IV” composed by the sought after Swedish artist Bertil Berntsson (1921-2002) in 1957, making it one of the artist’s earlier works.
This painting has an extraordinary provenance, coming from the personal art collection of Marianne Nanne-Bråhammar (1925-1998), who served as the director of Lund’s art gallery for 21 years. You can definitely say that anyone who during the later decades of the 20th century approached the art scene in Lund can hardly have avoided coming into contact with her.
