Cantilever lounge chair designed by Miroslav Navrátil for Spojené UP závody in Czechoslovakia, 1950s

This lounge chair was designed by Miroslav Navratil and is reupholstered in this beautiful cowhide. The colors of the upholstery together with the light wood color create a wonderful contrast, contributing to a calm and serene appearance with a good balance of colors. The construction embodies C-shaped armrests, resembling the look of the ‘Tank’ chair model 400 by Alvar Aalto.

Condition: wood is after a restoration, seat and backrest are newly reupholstered in cowhide and feature a new spring core.
