Large copper wall lamp, model 7307, designed by Finnish designer Paavo Tynell for Idman in Finland, 1950s.
This large, rare copper wall lamp was designed by Finnish lighting pioneer Paavo Tynell and manufactured by Idman in the 1950s. The lamp features a distinctive, beautifully patinated copper frame with an iron base as well as a large, rounded-shape opaline glass shade, which can easily be uncrewed for an excess to the lamp’s socket.
This wall lamp features the original manufacturer’s stamp ‘Idman’ on the outer side of the copper frame. It is unaltered and in its original condition, with wear consistent with age and use.
